Stevenson, is just across the river from Cascade Locks and is only about 3 miles east of the north end of the Bridge of the Gods and is a great option for resupply in The Gorge. The PCT trail head is only a few hundred yards to the WEST of the Bridge of the Gods
Amenities include, a grocery store with a laundromat, which some hiker have reported has more options than the store in Cascade Locks. There are several places to eat including a Subway and ice cream shop, a few breweries, a new outdoor store with some hiking supplies including Darn Tough socks. The saw shop has 8oz fuel canisters and if needed, there is a medical office, optometrist, physical therapy and a pharmacy as well as a few hotels and banks.
There are a few options for transportation to and from Cascade Locks via Skamania Transit, Most hikers (especially NOBO's) want to walk across the bridge. If you are one of those hikers, then your only options at this time, are to walk back to Cascade Locks to catch public transportation (week days only), or hike/hitch to Stevenson. Also, you can contact local Trail Angels to help with transportation.
